Homer Award
Crowdus Custom Homes & Remodeling has received 10 Homer Awards: one in 2002, two in 2003, two in 2004, two in 2007 two in 2008, and one in 2009. The Homer Award is the Oscar of the local residential building industry. The award recognizes excellence in design, workmanship and value in residential construction projects throughout the St. Louis region. This year, the HBA celebrated its 39th consecutive Homer Awards program for builder achievement. The Homer Awards is the most widely recognized new home building competition in the St. Louis area and is open only to HBA members. |

Master Design Award 2008
Crowdus Custom Homes & Remodeling wins Master Design Award in the prestigious 29th Annual Qualified Remodeler Master Design Awards Contest in the Finished Basement category. Sponsored by Qualified Remodeler magazine, the Master Design Awards is the premier national contest recognizing outstanding achievement in residental remodeling projects in 22 categories. Nominees are residential remodeling companies from across the country and entries are judged on aesthetic appeal, construction techniques used, financial value of the project, functionality of space and overall impression of the project. Awards are determined by a panel of five expert judges. Founded in 1975, Qualified Remodeler magazine was the first magazine dedicated to serving the residential remodeling market. The magazine is published by Cygnus Publishing, a division of Cygnus Business Media, and serves an audience of more than 84,000 residential remodeling firms. Professional's Choice Award Winner 2009
The Professional’s Choice Award is given based on construction quality, as judged by professional inspectors. Crowdus Custom Homes & Remodeling received news in September, 2009, that they had won this prestigious award for a Lower Level Finish completed in Kirkwood, Missouri.

HBA (Home Builders Association)
Crowdus Custom Homes & Remodeling is a member of the The Home Builders Association of Greater St. Louis.
The Home Builders Association of Greater St. Louis and Eastern Missouri helps create a region that promotes and protects the viability of the building industry by serving it's members, who strive to meet the housing needs of all Americans. The Home Builders Association of Greater St. Louis and Eastern Missouri began in 1934 when seven builders started the Builder's Guild. In the seventy-plus years since, the HBA has grown to over 1,100 members and is one of the most active local building industry associations in the country. The HBA is responsible for the geographic areas of St. Louis City and the Counties of St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson, Lincoln, Pike, Montgomery, Franklin, Warren, and Washington. |

Founded in 1982, the NAHB Remodelers of the National Association of Home Builders represents and serves the interests of more than 10,000 remodeling industry members. The NAHB Remodelors Council keeps its members at the forefront of industry developments and increases consumer awareness of the remodeling industry through a variety of programs and publications. In addition to keeping members up-to-date on issues such as lead-based paint and hazardous materials, the council works with members to enhance the awareness of consumers in their markets. |
